Before you take your snowmobiles to the trails for the first time this year, get your machine ready to go. It will take just a little patience, a couple tools, and some time.
Here are a few things to consider as you begin implementing your snowmobile maintenance plan:
Start with the basics: This includes actions such as cleaning off the snowmobile, removing any dirt and debris. Having a clean machine can help you make a better evaluation of what needs to be done.

As you execute your plan, pay extra special attention to the skis and runners on your snowmobile. Whether the parts are plastic or steel, they should be free of any holes or deep gouges.
Sometimes the runners can get bent, but stay calm! This is a fixable problem, simply use a vice to straighten them out.
