Want a great place to visit this summer? Try Spokane, Washington! There are unique shopping opportunities, fun amusement parks, and educational as well as entertaining museums. Here’s a few of our favorite places to go.
This is a 100 acre park which follows the river in downtown Spokane. In the center is the Great Northern clock towers and a steel cable structure which was the United States pavilion at the 1974 World’s Fair.
There are some popular attractions at the park including:
Spokane Falls SkyRide – a gondola ride over the falls
Looff Carrousel – historic 1909 ride
Pavilion Amusement Rides
Enchanted Forest Mini Golf
Ice Palace – open October through March
Tour Train – take a 40-minute loop through the park
Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture
This is an excellent museum conveniently located in the historic Browne’s Addition. Right next door to the museum is the Campbell House. This is a Neoclassical Revival home of prominent Spokane citizens.
