When towing a trailer you need to know what is going on behind you. Sometimes this means that you need to adjust your mirrors so that you can see the end of the trailer, as well as some of the area to the left and right of each end. You need to be able to observe what’s going on behind and directly to the side of the rear of the trailer when on the road.
If the trailer you are pulling is long, especially an enclosed trailer that limits your view, you may need to use side mirror extensions and special horizon mirrors to extend the viewing area.
Remember that blind spots are inevitable when towing most enclosed trailers. You need to be aware of your surroundings and any vehicle which may be pulling up behind you.
One of our larger trailers such as this Mirage 26 foot customized trailer. You will need to adjust your mirrors on this one.
