Not only do these chickens find hot weather uncomfortable, but there can be additional concerns when pulling a trailer in extreme heat.
Hot weather can pose problems when you are pulling a trailer.
Tune up your engine – A properly tuned engine runs cooler than a poorly tuned engine. Pulling a trailer can raise the temperature in your tow vehicle.
Maintain your tires – To avoid blowouts, check air pressure in all tires. Check the air pressure while the tires are cool before you travel.
Carry spares for your trailer and a spare for your tow vehicle. Make sure the tires are in good condition and that they are properly inflated. Then if you do have a breakdown, you can get back on the road quickly.
Use a GPS. This keeps you from being lost on roads which might be hard to turn around.
